It’s been a very busy year, though I haven’t updated my photography site in quite some time.   I decided to take some ‘me’ time from the social media game, and resist that ever-increasing urge to engage in the race-to-the-blog that I found myself in for so many years.  With that said, I have some amazing wedding and engagement photos to share from the past year, and I want to kick things off with something truly spectacular.

Fall in Colorado is arguably my favorite time of year; it’s just utterly breathtaking to a degree that’s hard to express to friends and family that haven’t lost themselves in a Colorado aspen grove during fall.  The warmth of it all is an experience that needs to be felt as much as seen.  I’ve only known Joscelyn and her fiance Jeff for a very brief period of time, but I feel like we’re already good friends after spending a day in Nederland on their fall engagement photos.  Jeff proposed to Joscelyn at Caribou Ranch, and it made the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.  We  made the 30 minute hike to the famous ranch and former recording studio, which has been host to the likes of the Billy Joel, Elton John, and Michael Jackson.   It’s easy to understand the inspiration they drew from Caribou Ranch!

Joscelyn and Jeff, thank you so much for an unforgettable day; I cannot wait to photograph your Planet Bluegrass wedding next year!
