WHAT DOES YOUR COVERAGE INCLUDE?
Yours truly: for everything: getting ready, first look, ceremony and all the crazy antics at your reception. No time limits, no location limits, no limits on the number of photos taken, no need to budget hours for wedding photography, nothing to distract you on your big day. Simply put: No Worries. My goal is to tell your entire wedding story from start to finish--in the most creative and emotional way possible.
For larger weddings or for those of you that simply want more angles covered, a second shooter is available upon request.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
My goal in wedding photography has always been to provide quality over quantity. My shooting and editing is governed by a "less is more" philosophy. I'd rather give you a couple hundred images than couple thousand boring photos that will be quickly forgotten.
Of course I also provide detail photos, group and family photos and all the classic elements of a wedding. Wedding Collections typically include 500-800 photos depending on the nature of the event.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Just long enough that you'll be able to experience the magic all over again. (within 6-8 weeks). I also provide teasers to my clients within 1-2 weeks so that you can keep the stoke going! Typically, you can expect your wedding album within 2 months or less after approving the final design.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! Thank you for asking. Most venues require professional wedding photographers to carry liability insurance. Fortunately for you, I carry up to a cool 2 million in general liability insurance, as well as insurance on all of my camera gear. If granny trips over my lightstand, or we get attacked by Sasquatch while shooting your engagement photos in the Cascades, you're covered (actually, don't quote me on that last scenario ;)
WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot with two Nikon D800's. These cameras capture astonishing levels of detail and dynamic range that rival $40,000 medium format cameras. Weddings present a particularly unique challenge to digital cameras, as they're frequently marked by highly variable, uncontrollable lighting conditions and require a camera that can capture this massively wide 'dynamic range' of lighting within a single photo. The D800's allow me to capture your day as close to the way you saw it with your own eyes as possible.
WILL YOU GIVE US THE FILES?
Absolutely. All clients receive high resolution, professionally edited photos from weddings and portrait sessions. We do not hold your photos hostage for post-session sales. But we most definitely recommend using a professional print lab for any reproductions. Let Walmart stick to doing what it does best: selling Nascar t-shirts and destroying small businesses.
