Damn it’s been a while since my last post.  I’ve been super busy with weddings and engagement shoots and ‘temporarily’ abandoned my orange county wedding photography blog until my new wedding website was up and running.

Speaking of which, my bigfolio website is now live and totally sick!  I’m super stoked on it and created it to remind people that photography is about creating something tangible that you can hold in your hand and hang on your walls–that it’s not simply “digital files” on a computer screen or ipad.  My whole site is designed around a custom leather offered by my album company http://www.finao.com .  The leather is called ‘Ludicrous’, and well, the name says it all.  It’s badass.

I’m going to pick up where I left off with my last post about the boston engagement session I shot, and then we’ll go from there.

So….meet Dan & Caiti.  They’re definitely not your typical couple, but then again, most of my brides aren’t your usual run-of-the-mill type.  I love photographing unique people.  They keep my work fresh and inspire me with their originality.

Dan first met Caiti online.  They were both living in Connecticut at the time, but over an hour away from each other.  Needless to say, Dan was smitten and drove well over an hour to meet Caiti for what was supposed to be their first date.  But she chickened out and left Dan with a long drive  home and no first kiss…Fortunately for her, Dan doesn’t give up easily and eventually won her over.  I thought it would be fun to plan their engagement shoot around this concept.
